The Imperial Collection is available in a number of different finishes according to the particular piece chosen. Many of these can be seen on the website, but by no means all. Finishes for this collection are complex and full of depth and character. Please contact us for details.

Note: European Heritage finishes are not available for the Imperial Collection nor vice versa.

European Heritage

The finishes that are available for the European Heritage range are divided into two different types; Water Based finishes and Solvent Based finishes.

Water Based.

This type of finish is comprised of hand applied paints and waxes which produce a soft, lived in look. The paints used are paste-like in texture which emphasises the depth and warmth of this medium.

Solvent Based.

This type of finish is comprised of spray applied paints and lacquers which result in smooth, highly durable surfaces.

Combinations.

A major attraction of the European Heritage range is the breadth of choice available in finishes. The customer can combine any of the finishes from one of the above groups with a second finish from within the same group to provide a large number of different effects.
